Born and raised in Fargo, ND, Patty relocated to Denver in 2021 to be close to family. Patty has 25+ years of accounting and leadership experience in real estate development, non-profit, media and clinical trial research companies.
In her role as Controller, she oversees the accounting and financial reporting for Zocalo and all related affiliates, including Zocalo corporate entities, real estate projects during construction and development and those that are fully operational.
Prior to moving to Denver, Patty served as Corporate Controller for Kilbourne Group, a real estate development company that developed and managed properties, held in real estate funds, primarily located within one mile of downtown Fargo. Several of these properties were historic building renovations giving new life to buildings that created the skyline of downtown Fargo.
Patty holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Minnesota State University, Moorhead and has been a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the State of North Dakota since 2010.
Patty relocated to Denver with her husband, Brad, to be closer to their two daughters and their granddaughter, Beatrix. Her and Brad are avid bicycle riders, with much of their free time spent exploring all of Denver on two wheels. They also enjoy live music events and living in a very urban, walkable area of the city.
