ZOCALO CONDOMINIUMS. PIONEERING THE REVITALIZATION OF JEFFERSON PARK.

Until recently, Jefferson Park was an overlooked, underutilized neighborhood less than a mile from downtown Denver. To spark reinvestment, the neighborhood and the City of Denver sponsored a competition for proposals to redevelop the site of a vacant police station into a new, mixed-use project. Zocalo delivered 50 percent more affordable units than was required by Denver’s Inclusionary Housing Ordinance.

Zocalo was selected from among eight competitors. Zocalo’s success as both a real estate and community development catalyst spawned a set of projects, one of which, RiverClay, became Zocalo’s encore project in Jefferson Park. The project sold out even prior to receiving a final Certificate of Occupancy.

OUR DEVELOPMENTS START WITH THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE.

We take the time to understand who will live at our developments and how they will use the space. This, in turn, drives design, construction, and sustainability to build real estate that has enduring social and economic value.
