2020 LAWRENCE. LUXE, HIGH-RISE SUSTAINABLE APARTMENTS IN DOWNTOWN DENVER.

Developed in 2013, 2020 Lawrence was Zocalo’s second high-rise apartment property – and second LEED®-Gold certified development – establishing the company as a leader in sustainable urban living. The high-rise community features a 50-kilowatt, rooftop solar array that powers a high-efficiency VRF heating system; a high-performance heating and cooling system designed to reduce energy loads by 40 percent; and a non-potable water cistern and tree-vault planting system for street trees.

The community is located in the heart of downtown Denver, near Coors Field and featuring views of the Rocky Mountains and spectacular amenities. Apartment interiors feature Energy Star appliances, high-performance water fixtures, Forest Stewardship Council-approved wood cabinets, energy-efficient lighting, high-efficiency washer and dryer, low-E windows, and low-VOC paints, adhesives, sealants, and carpets.

2020 Lawrence was recognized for best design by the Mayor’s Design Awards in 2013 and also received a Tribute Award for Most Sustainable Community by the Apartment Association of Metro Denver.
