Chris joined Zocalo in 2014 becoming an equity owner of the company in 2019. As a Partner & Senior Vice President of Construction, Chris leads construction team members, and oversees all construction activities including risk management, subcontractor & owner relationships, while interfacing with equity partners and investors, as well as property management teams.
Chris has over 15 years of direct construction and development related project management experience across the western United States and earned his LEED-AP accreditation in 2007. His experience includes constructing core & shell office buildings, high end hotel/casino projects, to 300+ unit apartment high rise buildings of which eight were LEED-Certified to LEED-Platinum.
Born and raised in Colorado, Chris attended Colorado State University where he received a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management in 2007. Chris began his career with a large General Contractor in California and Nevada and eventually made his way back home to Colorado. Chris lives in Wheat Ridge with his wife Gina and their two children. The family enjoys time in the mountains snowboarding and all the offerings of the amazing Colorado outdoors.
