COMMUNITY DIRECTOR

Joy is the Community Director at Zocalo’s newest development Weathervane, a LEED-Gold registered community providing affordable, market rate, and commercial space to the East Boulder neighborhood.

With extensive experience in renovation and project management, Joy brings her skills in strategic planning and leadership to the lease-up operations, focusing on building rapport and creating a sense of community from the ground up. Joy has worked in the Minnesota, Texas, and Colorado markets, with a diverse portfolio encompassing single family homes, commercial spaces, and vast garden style to urban high-rise apartments. Her versatile background prior to property management included sales, retail design, and the service industry, where she has focused on providing a high level of service and professionalism while contributing to company growth.

At home, Joy enjoys exploring beautiful Colorado with her husband and two dogs, and creating a healthy lifestyle by cooking weekly meal-prep, running and strength training, and spending quality time with friends and family.
