Chris has completed multiple large commercial/multi-family LEED-certified projects, ranging from Gold to Platinum and has developed an extensive knowledge and understanding of managing LEED®-certified construction projects.
Chris started his construction management career in San Diego, CA in 2007 after graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelors of Applied Human Sciences in Construction Management. After successfully completing a 5 story LEED® Gold-certified office building he moved to Las Vegas, NV to assist in the completion of the City Center Las Vegas resort and Casino, which is to this day still known as the largest privately funded construction project in US history. As Senior Project Manager for Zocalo, Chris’ responsibilities include leading construction related staff, the oversight of GMP contracts while managing the associated risks, overseeing monthly construction draws, preparing Owner change orders, subcontractor buy out, interfacing with equity partners, updating development schedules, and interfacing with the property management team during delivery of a project. In 2019 Chris was the first Zocalo employee to be named an equity owner of the company.
